Your data never leaves your machine.

Most online QR generators send your data to a server to render the code. Your URLs, credentials, and private text pass through systems you don't control — and are often logged. fwip generates the QR code entirely inside your browser using the qrcode-generator library. No server contact, no analytics on your content, no account needed.

fwip works differently. The QR engine runs entirely in your browser. Your data is read from your device, processed on your CPU, and the result is saved back to your device. No server is involved. We literally cannot see your file.

Most QR generators turn a 10-second task into a signup funnel. fwip just gives you the code.

No server processing

Everything runs on your device using WebAssembly. Your file never touches a network.

Static QR codes. No platform required.

Most QR code tools push dynamic codes — codes that route through their servers so they can track scans, upsell dashboards, and charge monthly fees. If you stop paying, the code stops working.

fwip generates static QR codes. The destination is encoded directly into the code itself. No redirect. No middleman. No subscription keeping it alive.

That means your code works forever, on any scanner, whether fwip exists or not.

If all you need is a reliable QR code that points where you tell it to, static is the right answer.

Use it free in your browser. Own it offline for $15. No subscription. No expiry. Yours forever.

Frequently asked.

Does this QR code expire?
No. fwip generates static QR codes — the destination is encoded directly into the code itself. There is no server redirect, no subscription keeping it alive. The code works forever on any scanner, whether fwip exists or not.
Is this a static or dynamic QR code generator?
Static. The URL or text you enter is encoded directly into the QR pattern itself. There is no redirect through fwip's servers. This means the code never expires, never requires a login to keep working, and cannot be tracked by fwip.
Should I download PNG or SVG?
PNG for screens, email, and digital use. SVG for print, packaging, and any situation where the code needs to be scaled up — SVG is infinitely scalable with no quality loss.
How do I generate a QR code without uploading my data?
Type or paste your URL, text, or data into fwip. The QR code generates instantly in your browser using local JavaScript — nothing is sent to a server. Your URLs, passwords, and private text stay entirely on your device.
What error correction level should I use?
M is the safe default for most uses. Choose L for smallest file size, Q for print where the code might get slightly damaged, and H for logos overlaid on the code. Higher correction increases reliability but also increases code complexity.
Can I generate QR codes for Wi-Fi passwords?
Yes — select the WiFi preset and enter your network name and password in the standard WIFI: format. The code generates instantly and the credentials never leave your browser.
Can I download the QR code as SVG?
Yes. fwip exports QR codes as both PNG (any size from 128 px to 1024 px) and SVG (infinitely scalable vector). Both formats are generated on-device with no upload required.
