How do I resize an image for Instagram without uploading?▾
Drop your image onto fwip and select Instagram from the platform tabs. Choose from presets like Square (1080x1080), Portrait (1080x1350), or Stories (1080x1920). The image is resized in your browser and never uploaded.
What is the difference between resize, crop, and squeeze?▾
Resize fits the image inside the target dimensions with letterboxing (background fill). Crop fills the entire target area by cutting edges. Squeeze stretches the image to exact dimensions, which may distort the aspect ratio.
Can I resize an image to custom pixel dimensions?▾
Yes. Select the Custom tab and enter any width and height in pixels. You can also lock the aspect ratio to prevent distortion when changing one dimension.
What image formats are supported for resizing?▾
fwip supports JPG, PNG, and WebP images up to 50 MB. The output format matches your input -- a PNG stays a PNG, a JPG stays a JPG.
