How does the slug generator handle accented characters?▾
fwip transliterates accented characters to their ASCII equivalents — é becomes e, ñ becomes n, ü becomes u. Supports Latin, Central European, and Scandinavian character sets.
Can I choose different separators?▾
Yes. Choose between hyphens (-), underscores (_), or dots (.) depending on your URL convention or filename requirements.
Is there a maximum length for slugs?▾
You can set an optional max length. fwip truncates cleanly at word boundaries without leaving trailing separators.
