What Markdown flavour is supported?▾
GitHub Flavored Markdown (GFM). This includes tables, task lists, strikethrough, fenced code blocks, and autolinks.
Can I use tables?▾
Yes. GFM table syntax is fully supported. Use pipes and hyphens to create tables with headers and alignment.
Does the preview match GitHub rendering?▾
Very closely. fwip uses the marked library with GFM mode enabled, which follows the same spec as GitHub's Markdown renderer.
Can I export the rendered HTML?▾
Yes. Copy the raw HTML to your clipboard, or download a standalone .html file with embedded styles that looks great in any browser.
Is there a word count?▾
Yes. The bottom bar shows word count, character count, and estimated reading time updated live as you type.
