Are media queries preserved?▾
Yes. fwip only removes whitespace, comments, and unnecessary characters. All @media rules, selectors, and properties remain intact.
Does it handle @import statements?▾
Yes, @import statements are preserved as-is. fwip does not resolve or inline imports — it only removes whitespace and comments around them.
Will it break my selectors?▾
No. fwip removes whitespace around known CSS delimiters ({, }, :, ;, etc.) but does not modify selector names, property names, or values.
Can I minify multiple files?▾
Currently one file at a time. Paste each file separately. The offline bundle supports batch minification.
How much smaller will my CSS get?▾
Typical savings are 15-35% depending on formatting style and comment density. Well-commented stylesheets with generous whitespace see the biggest reductions.
