Rasterise SVG without uploading it.

Most online SVG converters upload your file to a server. fwip converts SVG to JPG entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your vector artwork never leaves your device.

fwip works differently. The processing engine runs entirely in your browser. Your SVG is read from your device, processed on your CPU, and the result is saved back to your device. No server is involved. We literally cannot see your file.

No server processing

Everything runs on your device using WebAssembly. Your file never touches a network.

Frequently asked.

How do I convert SVG to JPG?
Drop your SVG file into fwip. Choose a target resolution and background colour. Download the rasterised JPG. All processing runs locally in your browser.
Is my SVG uploaded?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser using the Canvas API. Your SVG never leaves your device.
Why does SVG to JPG add a white background?
JPG does not support transparency. Transparent areas in SVG are filled with the background colour you choose — white by default.
Will quality be lost converting SVG to JPG?
SVG is vector (infinitely scalable). JPG is raster (pixel-based). You choose the output resolution — the higher you set it, the sharper the JPG. JPG also uses lossy compression, so some detail may be lost at low quality settings.
Can I convert SVG to PNG instead?
Yes. fwip has a dedicated SVG to PNG tool that preserves transparency.
