Keep your files
off the internet.

Private file tools that run on your device — not someone else's server.

Over 200 tools · No uploads · Works offline · No subscription

It runs in your browser.

Not on our servers. Not in the cloud. In your tab, on your hardware, using the CPU you already paid for.

Nothing leaves your machine.

Zero uploads. Zero exposure. We couldn't look at your files if we wanted to. We really, really don't want to.

You can own it.

One payment. No renewals. No subscription that quietly doubles in year two. Yours, permanently.

They upload your files.
Every single one.

Your contracts. Your medical records. Your client's financials. Your team's unreleased work. Upload it here. Process it there. Send it through three servers and a prayer. Maybe they log it. Maybe they train on it. Maybe it sits on a server waiting for a breach that hasn't happened yet.

We don't do subscriptions.

Adobe Acrobat is $19.99 a month. That's $240 a year to compress a PDF. Smallpdf is $18 a month. ILovePDF wants $7. Every month. Forever.

We think that's a bad deal.

fwip is $15 per tool. Once. Or $49 for a full category. Once. Or $99 for everything. Once. You buy it, you own it. No renewal reminder. No price hike email. No account to cancel when you finally get annoyed enough.

The web version is free and always will be. The offline version is permanent by design — not as a tier, not as a reward for loyalty. Just the product.

Things people ask.

Is the web version actually free?

Yes. Every tool works in your browser — no account, no upload. You get 3 free uses per day across all tools. No feature restrictions during those uses. We make money from the offline bundles, not from gating what the tools can do.

What actually happens to my file?

Nothing happens to your file on our end, because your file never reaches our end. It stays in your browser, gets processed using your device's hardware, and downloads back to you. We have no server-side storage, no logging of file contents, no access to anything.

What's the difference between the web version and the offline bundle?

The web version is great for quick one-off jobs — 3 free uses per day, full tools, no account. The offline bundle is a desktop app (Mac, Windows, Linux) that removes the daily limit and adds: batch processing (100+ files at once), no file size cap, right-click integration, hot folders, presets, and works with no internet at all. Same tools, more power.

What do I get for $49?

Every tool in a category — say, all 42 PDF tools — as an offline desktop app. Works on 3 devices. Updates included. One payment, no subscription. Yours.

What does "updates included" mean exactly?

When we add new tools to a category you've purchased, or improve existing ones, you get those updates at no extra cost. It's not a promise about every future thing we might build — it's a commitment that what you bought keeps getting better without requiring another payment.

Can I try before I buy?

Yes. Use the web tools free — 3 per day, no account. Want the offline app? 7-day trial. No credit card. No auto-charge. No "we noticed you haven't come back" emails. No sad puppy remarketing. Try it. Keep it or don't. We'll survive.
